Your Newsletter section is a space for your customers to receive updates about your latest company information, product news, and offers.

This section is compact enough that your customers can simply enter their contact details into the Enter email field, and then continue scrolling through your store.

Your customers can enter their email addresses to receive your store's newsletter.

Before enabling this section, your newsletter settings must be configured through your Shopify admin. To learn more, please read our guide below:


  1. Within your Shopify admin, go to Sales Channels > Online Store > Themes.

  2. Click your theme, and select Customize.

  3. On the left-hand menu, select Add section.

  4. Scroll down to select Newsletter.

  5. Click Select.

Color Scheme

You can change the colors of your newsletter by choosing one of the following options from the Color Scheme drop-down menu:

  • White

  • Light

  • Feature

  • Dark

Heading and Subheading

While neither are required fields, you can choose to add a Heading and a Subheading to your newsletter by typing them into the entry fields under Settings.

A new Heading will also rename this section entirely.

The Heading and Subheading can only feature plain text, and therefore can't include any bold or italic text.

Use the Text entry field to type bold, italic, or linked text onto your newsletter - this is a great place to advertise what your newsletter includes, to incentivize your customers to enter their email addresses.
