Your cart is where your customers’ products are placed as they shop on your store - you could view it as a holding area for customers’ items, where they can adjust quantity and view all items they are looking to buy.
The name “cart” is sometimes also called “trolley” or “basket”, but they all essentially mean the same thing.
You can do this by heading to:
Online Store → Themes → Customize
Click on the drop-down page selector and choose 'Cart'
You will see something like this:
For changing the wording/text, this should be super-easy to do if you go to:
Online Store → Themes
Actions → Edit Languages
You can search in the box at the top for the existing text. It will then bring up result/s where you can edit this.
Any changes to the text here will be reflected on the storefront. Or you can click the “cart” tab.
Use the following method:
Online store → Themes → Customize
Click Them Settings → Cart
You will then see the following options:
Toggling this checkbox shows/hides a box where customers can add a small piece of text for you to view.
This can be useful for customizations or messages.
You may feel you want to change the default text to something more suitable for your site.
To change this, head to:
Online store → Themes → Actions → Edit languages
You can then use the search bar, entering: 'Add note for the seller'.
This will bring up the text, where you will be able to customize it to whatever you prefer.
Enable/disable the “continue shopping” button.
Enable - Use this to toggle the visibility of a terms and conditions tickbox.
If you have a terms and conditions document you wish to link to, you can do so in the box provided in the Terms and Conditions settings.
